Mission Statement

My last post was a glossary of foundational concepts developed as a basis for this chapter of my own world building. Inspired by Virgil. Read that here.

This brand is a container for play expressed as art, media, strategy and design. I believe it sparks a conversation about the societal benefits of the merchant class as disseminators of taste and cultural exchange, where skills also stand in as goods. Merchants and craftsmen are stewards of artistic tradition and indicators of social and political change.

This work places special emphasis on the Creative Class (Richard Florida): Members of society who develop new forms of (thinking, doing, being) through music, art, literature and in general, the humanities. Expressed as an alien fantasy. What would happen on an island on Venus if women’s sole purpose was connecting to their creative instinct? Rooted first in this text: Women Who Run With the Wolves.

I believe it sparks a conversation on the societal benefits of the merchant class as disseminators of taste and cultural exchange. All connected to larger, distinctive networks for trading, buying and selling, but only within a model that prioritizes craftsmanship and limited supply.
